Ultra-fast broadband is coming
Here at IX Wireless, we are working closely with your local authorities to bring ultra-fast broadband to residents across your town.
We deliver this by beaming broadband to your premises via radio waves travelling at the speed of light.
By 2021, approximately 38,000 premises will have access to our wireless broadband technology, which will be capable of delivering speeds of 6,000 mbps by 2025.
Our partner 6G Internet will be responsible for delivering the new internet to residents and businesses.

During the roll-out
Because we use wireless technology, we do not need to dig up roads to lay cables. This means there will be very little disruption as we roll-out the infrastructure.
We will be installing wireless transmitters on roof-tops, telecommunication masts, monopoles and street poles, with some fibre optic cable also carried by telegraph poles.
We are working to keep the number of poles to an absolute minimum, with only 2-3 necessary for the average street.
We will usually take between 1-3 days to complete the installation process per street. There may be occasional road closures, but they will only be for a very short period of time while equipment is being moved.
We will have community liaison officers on the ground during the roll-out to make sure everything is going smoothly. If you have any concerns or questions, you are welcome to speak with them directly.
